iMotorbike Express Service Terms & Conditions

1. Service Check-in

1.1
iMotorbike may record the condition of the motorbike upon check-in.
1.2
The Customer shall remove all personal belongings and valuables from the motorbike. iMotorbike shall not be responsible for any loss, damage, or theft of personal belongings or valuables left on the motorbike, whether during inspection, repair, storage, or test rides.
1.3
iMotorbike reserves the right to refuse service for unsafe, illegal, or non-compliant motorbikes.
1.4
iMotorbike may record, collect, and process the Customer's personal information in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) and iMotorbike's own Data Protection Policy, solely for the purpose of executing, managing, and improving the provision of services.

2. Diagnosis & Approval

2.1
iMotorbike shall provide an estimated quotation and turnaround time following inspection of the motorbike.
2.2
All quotations shall be indicative only; final charges may vary based on actual work performed.
2.3
No repair shall commence without the Customer's express approval, whether verbal, written, or digital.
2.4
A diagnostic fee may be charged if the Customer elects not to proceed with repairs.

3. Services

3.1
iMotorbike shall provide the following services:
3.1.1
Maintenance, repair, inspection, and diagnostic services.
3.1.2
Oil changes and filter replacements
3.1.3
Brake system and electrical checks
3.1.4
Tire services
3.1.5
Battery replacement
3.1.6
Sprocket and chain replacement
3.1.7
Spark plug replacement
3.1.8
Bike wash and detailing
3.2
All services shall be performed using parts, consumables, and materials supplied solely by iMotorbike, whereby labor charges shall be included as stated.

4. Parts & Materials

4.1
Replacement parts shall be new, OEM, genuine, or aftermarket as available and instructed by the Customer, and shall be supplied solely by iMotorbike; the Customer shall not provide their own parts.
4.2
Consumables shall be charged as used.
4.3
All parts shall remain the property of iMotorbike until full payment is received.
4.4
Removed parts shall be disposed of unless the Customer expressly requests their return.

5. Payment

5.1
All charges shall be payable in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and inclusive of applicable taxes. Payment may be made by cash, bank transfer, credit card, debit card, or through iMotorbike's selected Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) partners.
5.2
iMotorbike may require a deposit for major works or special-order parts.
5.3
Full payment shall be made prior to release of the motorbike to the Customer.

6. Warranty

6.1
iMotorbike shall provide a limited warranty of seven (7) days shall apply to workmanship and a respective manufacturer's warranty on the replaced parts ("Warranty").
6.2
The Warranty shall not cover wear-and-tear parts, misuse, accidents, unauthorised modifications, or unrelated defects.
6.3
The Customer shall provide iMotorbike with the original service receipt to initiate any Warranty claims
6.4
The Warranty shall be void if the Motorbike is serviced elsewhere after iMotorbike's work.

7. Test Rides

7.1
The Customer shall authorise the iMotorbike to conduct test rides as necessary for the provision of the services herein.
7.2
iMotorbike shall not be liable for any issue arising from pre-existing defects during test rides.

8. Customer Responsibilities

8.1
The Customer shall disclose all known mechanical issues and modifications.
8.2
The Customer shall ensure sufficient fuel for testing purposes. Re-fueling of the motorbike may be performed by iMotorbike if necessary, and all costs incurred shall be borne by the Customer.
8.3
The Customer shall make all payments for services, parts, and consumables as required by these Terms & Conditions.
8.4
Any delivery of the motorbike to or from iMotorbike shall be arranged and borne by the Customer.

9. Turnaround Time

9.1
Completion times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
9.2
iMotorbike shall not be liable for delays due to parts availability or technical factors. However, iMotorbike shall notify the Customer promptly upon becoming aware that the completion time will be delayed.

10. Liability

10.1
iMotorbike shall not be liable for loss or damage to personal items, accessories, or valuables left on the motorbike.
10.2
Except as required by law, iMotorbike shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses alleged or proven to be caused by the services rendered herein.
10.3
The maximum liability shall be limited to the service fee paid for the specific repair.
