3rd June 2017 – Triumph Motorcycles has been announced as the exclusive engine supplier to the FIM Moto2TM World Championship from the 2019 season onwards.
Triumph has signed a three-year contract with Dorna – the commercial rights holder of MotoGPTM – to supply dedicated race-tuned 765cc triple-cylinder engine, based on the powerplant from the all-new 2017 Triumph Street Triple.
The new engine is a significant development of the race-winning Daytona 675R powerplant that has powered supersports wins at the Isle of Man TT, Daytona 200 and British Supersports Championships in 2014 and 2015.

Triumph Motorcycles Malaysia introduces four new motorcycles for 2017, starting with the Triumph Bonneville Bobber, the Street Scrambler, the Bonneville T100/T100 Black and also the performance-inspired Street Triple RS roadster.
Prices are: Bonneville Bobber RM74,900 to RM75,900; Bonneville T100/T100 Black RM63,900 to RM65,900; the Street Scrambler RM65,900 to RM67,900; and Street Triple RS RM66,900. All prices are inclusive of 6% GST but not on the road.
The new models and variants are immediately available for viewing and booking at the Triumph Motorcycles Malaysia’s Petaling Jaya flagship store and also all authorised dealers nationwide.
