Kawasaki to launch Z900 in India on March 25

Gear up folks because Kawasaki India will be appearing for an official ride weekend and also mentioned that it will be launching “important for 2017 models” at the event. The firm refused to release any comments regarding the new bikes but sources have dug out that the new bikes to be displayed are the Z900 and it will be showcased in India on March 25.

The Z900 is said to be the replacement for the Z800, which is among the most popular motorcycles for Kawasaki in India. The new bike was displayed at the Intermot motorcycle show in Germany last year and the firm claims that the bike will be brought in via the CBU route from Thailand. Kawasaki also has a surprise for the audience and might be launching the Ninja 650 and the Z650 in the Indian market.

The new Kawasaki Z900 is expected to be priced between Rs 9 lakh and 10 lakh.

As for the Ninja 650, the fairing design of the bike has been made sharper and the new motorcycle gets twin split headlamps similar to the Ninja ZX-10R to make it look aggressive It features a new multi0turbular aluminum chassis and a new swingarm. The new trellis frame weights just 15kg and also has improved the handling dynamics of the sports tourer.
