Israeli teen makes history by winning the tough Africa Eco Race

Ever wondered what’s it like to ride across the Sahara Desert? Or how about competing in a race across the Sahara Desert? Regardless of heat, distance or any obstacles, this 17 year-old Israeli rally driver made history over the weekend for winning a long distance motorcycle race across the mighty desert. Gev Teddy Sella was crowned champion of the Africa Eco Race on Saturday after he completed an astonishing 6,500 kilometre course 50 minutes ahead of his competitor. The teen prodigy impressed the crowd with his victory as he has never ace on a desert track before! He became the youngest ever champion of the competition. Sports and Culture Minister Miri Regev called the teen to congratulate him and even invited him to the office to collect his certificate of excellence.
