We had breakfast together at 8am. Half an hour later we took out Alex’s motorbike from the trailer and Cris’ bike because Cris injured his hand. At 9.30am, we were flagged off from Qing Tian Hotel as a token of appreciation because of the good treatment they gave the team. We continued our journey to Leshan through Suijiang. We used the Highway G85 for the journey.
At 12.30pm, we took a rest and had refreshments in the Cinotel Petro Pump after 130km of journey. At 1pm, we continued our journey to Leshan using the National Road (G213) and the road condition was better. After four hours of riding, we stopped for refreshments in the small town of Qianwei. At 6pm, we continued the journey using the tolled highway. We had to break the rules because the Chinese government did not allow motorcycles to use the tolled highway because rides get tiring and they try to prevent any risks at night.
We reached the Jia Zhou Hotel in Leshan at 8.30pm.We had our dinner which was greatly prepared by Abang Karim. The menu of the night was chicken curry and egg sambal!
